Dairy-Free Ranch Dressing

Forget that shelf-stable supermarket stuff—homemade ranch dressing is insanely delicious and doesn’t contain any preservatives. This creamy classic works as a salad dressing or a dip, and it’s got that familiar, addictive zing from the bright vinegar and dill. We love using our homemade avocado oil mayo for this, but feel free to sub in your family’s favorite brand.

  • Yield: 1½ cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup full-fat, unsweetened canned coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried dill weed (not dill seed)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  1. Step 1

    Add all ingredients to a medium bowl and whisk to combine. (Alternately, combine ingredients in a jar, seal, and shake well.) Refrigerate for up to 1 week.

    Try swapping in other herbs like parsley, chives, or oregano to create your own house ranch.
